The Anne Samson Jerusalem Journey
TJJ NCSY BUS 7- Closing Remarks

Dear Bus 7 Parents,

Monday began with a very early 4 a.m. wake up to hike to the top of Mt Hatzfachot, a mountain that overlooks four different countries including Israel’s beautiful coastline! Once we reached the summit, we watched the sun rise over the incredible view of the surrounding mountains and the Red Sea.

After a stop for some breakfast, we headed out to the Crystal Blue Water of the Red Sea where we embarked on an epic boat cruise and snorkeling!

We had a delicious Falafel lunch and then water sports including, banana boats, tubing, kayaking and windsurfing.

For our final day of TJJ, we made the long drive up to Jerusalem for one last shopping spree in the Jewish quarter.

After lunch, we visited the Kotel to connect in person to the place that the Jewish people have turned to for thousands of years! We will return to you. Very soon! “Veshavu Banim Ligvulam”

We ended our incredible journey at Aish Hatorah in Jerusalem, overlooking the Kotel for a grand banquet. We shared heartfelt stories of inspiration and newfound love of this beautiful land!

We wished a bittersweet farewell to the wonderful family we have become over the course of this magical month!

Thank you for entrusting your children with us this summer. Each individual student grew in so many ways! Personally we opened up to more friends, spiritually we broadened our connection to the Jewish people, and lastly we ALL fell in love with our homeland, Eretz Yisrael!

Parents, I send you my blessings that you see continued growth, and experience true joy from your incredible children.

Please keep in touch!!

With love,

Rabbi Shmuli
